Service Enterprise Certification
A Service Enterprise is an organization that fundamentally leverages volunteers and their skills to successfully deliver on its social mission.
Rethink the way you engage volunteers to address community needs and join the top 11% of nonprofits in the country in volunteer engagement and organizational performance.
Research conducted by TCC Group and Deloitte shows that nonprofits operating as a Service Enterprise are as effective as peers, but at almost half the median budget and are significantly more adaptable, sustainable, and scalable.
VQ Volunteer Strategies is certified through Points of Light and administered by the Association of Leaders in Volunteer Engagement (Al!ve) to deliver Service Enterprise training and certification independently or in partnership with volunteer centers, state commissions, and foundations.
Training and certification are team-based and focus not only on best practices but also on change management. Through training and certification, you can receive:
- Access to a research-based program
- A comprehensive diagnostic assessment
- Individualized team coaching
- Proven tools and resources
- Membership in a peer network
- Increased capacity to power your organization
